At WNY Black Car, we understand that plans can change. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for modifying, canceling, and refunding transportation services booked through wnyblackcar.com.
1. Cancellation Policy
Standard Reservations
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time to receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup may be subject to a full charge.
Same-Day Bookings
- Reservations made on the same day are non-refundable once confirmed.
2. Airport Transfers
- Cancellations for airport pickups must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Once a driver has been dispatched, cancellations may be non-refundable.
- If flight details were not provided at the time of booking, WNY Black Car is not responsible for missed pickups or delays.
3. Hourly / Event Bookings
- Hourly services, weddings, proms, and special events require at least 48–72 hours notice for cancellation (depending on booking terms).
- Late cancellations may result in partial or full loss of deposit/payment.
- Custom event bookings may have separate agreements, which will override this policy.
4. No-Shows
A reservation will be considered a no-show if:
- The passenger cannot be reached at the provided contact number
- The passenger fails to arrive within the designated pickup time and grace period
- Incorrect pickup details were provided
No-shows are non-refundable and fully charged.
5. Waiting Time & Delays
- Airport pickups include a grace period based on flight arrival time.
- Non-airport pickups include a limited waiting window.
- Additional waiting time will be billed accordingly.
- If a passenger causes excessive delay, the trip may be canceled and charged in full.
6. Refund Policy
- Eligible refunds will be processed to the original form of payment.
- Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
- Non-refundable situations include:
- Late cancellations
- No-shows
- Same-day confirmed bookings
- Services already rendered
7. Booking Modifications
- Changes to reservations (time, location, vehicle, etc.) must be requested in advance.
- Modifications are subject to availability and may result in price adjustments.
- Last-minute changes cannot be guaranteed.
8. Service Disruptions
WNY Black Car is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by:
- Traffic conditions
- Weather
- Road closures or accidents
- Border crossing delays
- Events beyond our control
Refunds will not be issued for delays due to these circumstances, but we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate adjustments when possible.
9. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service without refund if:
- Passenger behavior is unsafe, illegal, or abusive
- There is risk to the driver or vehicle
- Booking terms are violated
10. Chargebacks & Disputes
- Customers agree to contact WNY Black Car directly to resolve any billing issues before initiating a chargeback.
- Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in additional fees or legal action.
